Buli is named once the buri palm. Alabang is named after the river that passes through the barangay. Ayala Alabang was established by Batas Pambansa Bilang 219 out of Barangay Alabang. Sucat acquired its identify in the vernacular term "sukat", which implies "measurement" because it was measured during the Spanish period.From the Global Phonetic Al
